Today is my birthday, happy birthday to me.
Well, considering we almost had in BDTW2, a Bernard Herrmann
sounding soundtrack, however, I outed that last year, because it doesn't
really fit...So, I had all these little piece just laying and now they are in DH.
Herrmann's soundtracks mostly used strings, the oboe, high violins, the
pizzicato, etc...I think if we use only these instruments start high, then
mid, then high/low, then mid/high, and just playing down and up at the
same time in some places, it will sound exactly like Herrmann, without the
music coming to breaking copyrights.
Today, also marked the day as of finally scoring the lead characters
theme music, Miss Horton's Theme. This is the final write, out of three
others. It has a cool sound of jazz, not very Herrmann, but, it works, and
that's all that matters.
