The Prisoner of Zenda (1931)

This style is seen in The Prisoner of Zenda, as choreographed by
fencing teacher Ralph Faulkner.

Faulkner also plays a part in the film, as well as doubling for Ronald
Colman in the wider shots, while fencing with Douglas Fairbanks, Jr.
Italian Traditional Fencing (1930)

Shown by one of the greatest fencers who ever lived, Nedo Nadi.

In this clip we see his wonderful Italian Traditional fencing form, of this
unedited footage of a visit to New York Athletic Club.

French Traditional Fencing (1931)

Six female fencers are introduced. Then there is a bout between two of
the fencers, Miss Llloyd on the left and Miss Nelligan on the right.

1930 British Army Fencing

The British Army using Sabre drills. And also practicing other skills as well as
the Sword Dance.
Mark of Zorro (1940)

One of the greatest choreographed fencing fights ever
seen, is from this film.

Both actors (
Tyrone Power and Basil Rathbone) were taught to fence, by
Ralph Faulkner, however, this fight scene was choreographed by Fred
Cavens, who would later go on to do the fencing for Disney's Zorro,
starring Guy Williams.
Charles and John King (1955)

In the Brighton Pavilion. Charles King, who was an instructor at Brighton
