Walking...For a Reason
From now on, I'll be posting along with the walk information, the
route that we will be taken so that you, and others know
of the direction we are heading. If a Zombie gets lost, they need
no fear of the humans getting them any longer.
Right now, I'm still going through a list of which charity we are to
walk for...I'd like to help each of them, but, not knowing how
much we can raise and splitting the proceeding, would always
leave one charity unequal, like, so and so gets half a penny
less...And that's not fair.
We're going to try and raise money for a couple. Because
November 5th, is not going to be the only walk.
The first Zombie Walk I've hosted, and although it may seem like a small amount to you,
but, ten great people came out tonight, with Zombie attire, ready and able to walk
around for an hour acting like the dead people walking.
I was quite pleased, because I was afraid that no one would show up. Luckily, fate
proved me wrong.
This Zombie walk/Contest was put together in three days. It was started a month ago,
as just a private walk with a few people, however, when I started thinking about it on
the second day, I realized how much we could do with a Zombie Walk --- of course,
finding out weather or not people would show up also convinced me that about my
thoughts, that it was possible.
So, there is to be, another walk. On November 5th 2010.
Except this time, we're going to be raising money for charity. That may seem a little
strange to you, the "Zombie Walking", but, I think we could do some real good for
people. And after tonight, I'm convinced that there are enough people out there that
are willing to help, and IT IS possible to help others by acting a little crazy at least, once
a month.
