I am (Justin Evangelista), have been doing tests on stop-motion animation. Back in College, I did stop motion, and back in the 1990's (recorded on video VHS, and re-recorded on fast-forward) as well, however, for almost 20 years I've been making CGI animation, and still learning. NOW with the Stop-motion...I found out recently that I have a light which I think MAY be flickering, OR there is another source, which is causing a bounce back towards the lens, causing that small light change. That is not a really big problem, as I am still testing out ideas.
One thing I am also considering is actually animation at 30 Frames Per Seconds. This is because some of the footage was shot at 30FPS (Frames Per Second), and then converted to 24FPS. So, to get the stop-motion animation to match movement, I may do that.
The image over to the right, was a Very quick test. Which I did, (yes, I know it sucks) weeks ago. Just to find out if I could use the area, and how much light I'd need. I was not looking for this quality, it was made so I could find out most of the problems, however, not all as I found out today.
Currently, the NEW SITE, as you may be able to see in a computer monitor, laptop, phone, other way is now up and running.
This page is to let you know the overall progress, of what is going on with the new DEATH HAIR 2, Indiegogo NEWS!
I am about the launch the Indiegogo page, we shall see if it does anything...but, the work will still go on. The card(s) off to the side are based upon the kind of cards which came from places like Famous Monsters of Filmland back in the 1960's. It's a little easter egg, for those that grew up with it. ;)
I'm not giving on this, or any of my projects. Last year I spent most of my time healing after a couple surgeries, which failed to meet expectations. And this is the first and last time I write about it. None of the actors, friends, and some family members even know, and unless they read this, they won't. It is mearly my reason for not finishing any film projects last year.
But now...I'm back to work!
