If you came here for some insightful, in-depth media reviews. I have seen tens of thousands of media projects, and I work hard making satire, spoofs, and historical fiction. HOWEVER, in the future, I will review my own media projects, the same way I do any other here. These reviews are in my opinion, allegedly, and personal reviews.

"What is drama but life with the dull bits cut out.".

- Alfred Hitchcock

"Filmmaking is a chance to live many lifetimes.".

- Robert Altman

"Wouldn't it be a shame if someone stole another's life"

- Justin A.

"I think, at the end of the day, filmmaking is a team, but eventually there's got to be a captain.".

- Ridley Scott

My Movie Reviews - In My Opinion

The Horror of It All (1964)

A horror, supposedly comedy directed by Terence Fisher. It would be a good idea, in my opinion, to watch The Old Dark House, made the year before, or The Old Dark House (1932).

---------------------------

The Harder They Fall (1956)

Directed by Mark Robson, based on the novel by Budd Schulberg. Humphrey Bogart plays a promoter of a boxer, who has a glass jaw and doesn't know how to box. This is Humphrey Bogart's final movie, and a great way of seeing how basically (even back then), someone will believes their own publicity.

-------------------------------------------

Murder, Inc. (1960)

It's nicely filmed, and it has Peter Falk in it.

-------------------------------------------

Drunken Angel (1959)

In my opinion...Not enough Booze.

-------------------------------------------

The Case Against Brooklyn (1958)

Based on a story in True Magazine, and I only watched it to see Darren McGavin. I think I liked The Christmas Story more. Alas. However, it is a well made movie, which is also quite forgettable, alas.

-------------------------------------------

Akira Kurosawa’s: The Bad Sleep Well (1960)

Shows the sadness, of a man scarred by war and terror, trying to do what is right for his family.

-------------------------

The Desperate Hours (1956)

Today, people would probably think there was too much talking in this movie, however, it IS based a novel and play, so, that give you an idea of it. Humphrey Bogart and Fredric March do a great job! Which is sad that there are not more Humphrey Bogart movies to see.

-------------------------------------------

Screaming Mimi (1958)

All I remembered, was the screaming. So, I guess, at least it was true to the title.

-------------------------------------------

Never Love a Stranger (1958)

An overall good idea.

-------------------------------------------

Sweet Smell of Success (1957)

What if the "bad-guys (of the time)" were featured in a movie, instead of the good guys. Has a lot of creepy, too. I recommend it for the audience of today, so, they know what bad guys were like.

-------------------------------------------

Monkey on My Back (1957)

Cameron Mitchell does a fine job, acting like an drug addict. Actually, liked it more than The Man with the Golden Arm (1955).

-------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------

"I make movies."

- Justin A. Evangelista

"Coffee is a language in itself."

- Jackie Chan.

"Be who you are and say what you want, because those who mind don't matter and those that matter don't mind.".

- Dr. Seuss
